Hey I really like Cursive and think they have a really revolutionary sound that just blows my mind and I was just thinking what everybody else thought

I love cursive!

I like recluse alot too, thats one of my favs by them

I was listening to some cursive today..and i thought i would bring this back from the grave too!

Cursive is great! One of my fav songs is "The Casualty"!

Check out Red Handed Slight Of Hand, infact get anything off "The Ugly Organ".

Sierra and The Recluse are the only songs off Ugly Organ I like.

Major thread bumpage here, but its okay cause Cursive are better than you.
So yeah, I found my Ugly Organ album last night, & its even better than I remembered it.
I need a reccomendation though, what do I buy next?
Im kind of broke over here, and want to make sure I spend my money on the best I can..

Cursive isn't terrible, but it's nothing I would listen to again. Hell, Commander Venus was a lot better (the band Tim Kasher was in when he was a teen).

I really disagree with Commander Venus being better.

Get "Domestica", and Cursive is great.

Seems like i beat everyone to it. "Happy Hollow" leaked early this morning i think...anyway it's okay, the only song i really like on it is "bad sects", everything else is kinda bleh.

Hook me up please?

Thanks & yeah, I agree the whole album is kind of bleh. I'll probaly listen to it a few more times maybe it'll grow on me.

I was listening to Cursive a few minutes ago.
At any rate, I really like Cursive.
I think one of my favorite songs by them is probably the Martyr. Or rather it's the song I listen to most often by them.

Cursive is alright...i checked them out one day when raine suggested that since i liked TMV that i would like Cursive..they're not close to being half as good as TMV..but they're alright

Never said they were as good as TMV but they're good.

I'm going to bump this thread, just because Happy Hollow is finally released. How many of you actually like this new album?

I love the new album. It's so different. They definetly expanded with this album.

Cursive are boring live, mainly because I don't like Happy Hollow. Tim Kasher is also a dick.

Stephen Pedersen from the beastly nc emo band The White Octave was on their first album. Fun fact.

They're starting work on the new album.

dorothy at 40 is such a great song. i have to stop whatever i'm doing whenever that song plays.

I kinda like this band, nothing to special nothing to hidious either.
