Just listened to the album all the way through a couple times (Woulda been a lot easier if my fecking internet didnt keep packin up). Stand out tracks = Your Biggest Mistake, Circle Square Triangle (of course) , Maintain the Damage, and Sharks.

My favourites anyways, tis a good album.

Pitchfork called it "the Blood Brothers gone dance-punk," which is kind of true. "Circle Square Triangle" would fit right on a Q And Not U album.

I haven't listened to the album all the way through yet, but I've liked most of the songs so far.

i have bought the album, and the best track BY FAR is catch it. so funky and cool. goes from a loud, screaming extreme to an electro hose down. splendid stuff.

I also went to see The Kills the other day (Boy that was good, supported by Be your own pet) and they were there on the merchandise stand and are reeeeallly cool guys so i like them now.

Default Test Icicles split

"The trio call it a day
Test Icicles have split up.

The band, who recently denied rumours that they were to call it a day, have finally confirmed they are pulling the plug after cancelling their upcoming ShockWaves NME Awards Show supporting Nine Black Alps at London's Hammersmith Palais on February 24 and their US tour.

A statement from the group said: "The band have just come off a European tour and are exhausted from the constant pressures of touring, subsequently they have cancelled their show at the NME Awards and US tour."

They added: "The band will play their UK tour in April. Details of a final single to be taken from the album to announced. There are currently no plans to make another album or tour beyond this."

Rumours have been circulating for weeks online that the trio would disband following their current touring commitments.

Guitarist Rory Atwell recently tried to deny these claims saying: "We are on a sold-out UK tour then onto sold-out dates in Europe and America with a new single and UK tour in April."

However Atwell did hint that the band had no plans after the summer, adding: "Maybe [we'll do] some festies, after that who knows, depends if anyone's still interested!"

Test Icicles' April UK tour will visit:

Glasgow Garage (April 18)
Sunderland Manor Quay (19)
Manchester Academy 2 (20)
Coventry Coliseum (21)
London Astoria (22)

Meanwhile, the trio will release a limited edition remix single 'Totally Re-f Ked' on March 6.

The single will feature two tracks: 'Boa Vs Python'(Statik Remix feat.Fire Camp) and 'Catch It' (Jitset remix featuring Ruff Sqwad & Statik).

The single will be released on 7" and 12" vinyl and as download only."

wow......
