grandaddy - Indie/Space Pop at it's best... i listen to a LOT of random bands all the time.. but the last few months I still keep grabbing a grandaddy album regularly to listen to. They are becoming on of my fav bands ever actually (tho the recent EP only has a couple good songs)!

In last 6 months another band that is getting constant rotation for me is Soulwax. Indie Rock at it's best (and with new album electroclash/dance at it's best...)

yeah Grandaddy are supersweet. i only have Sumday. what would you recommend?

er... not heard anything BAD by them to be honest... But i recommend getting the albums in this order (good to less good)

At the moment I seem to be on a constant loop of Sigur Rós albums.

I've only listened to Agaetic Byrjun and (), both are very, very good. I can't help listening to O.A.R's new album Stories Of A Stranger, and I keep listening to Rilo Kiley. Specifically the More Adventurous album.

If you like them two then I reckon you'll love the new one, Takk. I was a bit worried moving to a major label might make them change the sound and make it more "mainstream", but it really hasn't. It just sounds like the album they'd never had the money or the resources to make before.

That Rilo Kiley album is pretty damn good as well, as is the Execution of All Things.

I agree with Sigur Ros too, been listening quite a bit as well, but it's an album I have to 'be in the mood for' so doesn't get as much play time as other less emotionally draining albums...

I am right obsessed with the kaiser chiefs!! i just cannot stop listening to them! they are sooo good! lol

i also can't stop listening to arctic monkeys! they are brilliant too.

kaiser chiefs are good coz its a bit different to everything else out there. Same with Artic Monkeys, its raw. But I'm more of a fan of underground and upcoming bands....POST HASTE near Liverpool are the one to watch

I'm loving Maximo Park and Kaiser Chiefs at the mo. (Memories of the NME Rock And Roll Tour at the end of October..AMAZING!!)

The geordie accents from Maximo Park are just amazing. Totally addicted to it.. the album is playing in my car constantly.
