Regarding the 'emo' if i had the same attitude towards my friends musical tastes i probably wouldn't have any friends. I think there's far better reasons to punch someone than their opinions on Strokes albums but fair play i guess. I can't say a band having money or not in the first place bothers me all that much. Is This It was a great debut, and they didn't add to their sound but then again a load of bands who are successful with their first album are guilty of this.
