They had such a unique sound when they first arrived, and now they're just, "eh." I really hope the 4th album which is set to be worked on starting this summer is a return to form for such a great and talented band. And before you start bashing me, realize that i am an absolutely huge strokes fan, and Is This It is probably my favorite album ever. So much so that i went out of my way to get the imported European version with NYC Cops on it and the cover with the naked lady lol. If you haven't listened to that album all the way through then you honestly haven't lived yet.
I like First Impressions Of Earth, although i've changed my mind over this album so many times, i have phases with it. It wasn't what anyone was expecting and kudos to them for that, change the formula a bit. They didn't with Room On Fire and it was bloody boring.
