Angles is a good album, but it sounds completely different from what The Strokes originally sounded like, and in that aspect I don't like it.
I think that as a Strokes album, it isn't all that good, but as an album standing on it's own it is pretty amazing. I'm quite taken to Taken For A Fool. |

I've only heard The Strokes first album in Is This It? but I admit their gritty sound is very well done. I also love how the vocalists (something Casablanca's?) voice fits in well with that sound.
I should probably catch up on a few more of their albums, to see if they lived up to their debut.
