Default Wolf Parade

Excellent band from our (and by our, I'm assuming you live in the United States of Jesusland) neighbors up North. Their debut, Apologies To The Queen Mary, is a very fun, Modest Mouse-y (produced by Isaac Brock, even), rock album. One of my favorites of the year so far.

Any fans?

To be compleatly honest, I had never herd of Wolf Parade until last Sunday when they played during the Arcade Fire show that I was at. From the brief introduction that I got there though I am interested in looking further into them. Any perticualr songs that you would reccomend?

I think that I recognize some of those. At the very least I distictly remember "You Are A Runner And I Am My Father's Son" and you're right, it was very amazing. The others I will look into right away.

Yayay yay, Wolf Parade, Just Introduced to them a few weeks back, it's production is Crazy as hell. the lyrics are put far back, so you sort of lean into the song, innovative to say the least,

and the way they move and the way they move and the way they move their hands!

Saw them live on the 3rd, great show and a great way to start off the new year. Best live show I've seen behind EitS.

Default confused!?

Ok, I don't know whats wrong with me. I've heard wolf parade being compared to many bands, and I like all these bands. However I just don't find them that good. Why, and anyone tell me. The lyrics are fine and I get how its got an accessable feel to the album and certain songs are simple and easy to get around the first time like singles, but again they just don't sound great to me. One of those bands you don't like for me, yet for the life of you could not explain why.
