I loved At the Drive-In. They were awesome, yes they split up into the mars volta and sparta. I personally think mars volta sucks. Sparta is awesome though

Question At The Drive-in

Does anyone know the meaning of the At The Drive-in song 'One Armed Scissor'? Is it about cutting?

agree with you there, the shins are a good acousticish band *we formed an acoustic group to cover some of their stuff*

as for the at the drive in song, one armed scissor, i think it is about herion *what i got told*, all i know is my band played a cover of it at school, and we had a mosh to piss off the teachers on our last day. twas grand.
