lol...i noticed, but what emo bands have you listened to? cuz i agree, some of it IS horrid

i like cute(without the e) by taking back sunday and a few songs by coheed and cambria

i like punk rock princess by something corporate!

taking back sunday and something corporate are both bands that are worth checking out....its not too emo for some of the harder punk rockers

coheed and taking back sunday arent really emo but they both do totally kick ass...
its more alturntive rock, i would say most bands people call emo or alturntive rock, i would say dashboard confessional again i go unnoticed is my favorite emo song

This goes to all you Emo-Haters. You're wrong if you think it's just talking little kids whining.. It shows you obviously have a poor sense of hearing. Emo is so much more than that but some people don't have an elaborate enough mind to understand it (Which you Emo-Flamers would be categorized under). Emo is the deepest kind of music that I have ever listened to and when I hear any other music now it seems like nothing compared to Emo. I just started getting into Emo because of one of my friends and at first I was like you guys. I didn't like I thouht it was just whining and stuff. Then I actually tried to listen to the words and feel what they were singing, now i'm in love with Emo. Anyways just thought maybe you guys should give it a chance and actually LISTEN to the lyrics and understand what they are saying. another plus is I think Emo has the best vocals of any other type of music.. just the way it's expressed...
