Um... how about Agnostic Front's old material? Another Voice is abominable, but Victim In Pain and Cause For Alarm are pretty solid albums, emphasis on the former...

Second so many bands came out of NYC that are good.
side by side
bold
supertouch
sick of it all
gorilla biscuits
warzone
youth of today
underdog
cro-mags
etc...

so many good bands came out of here.
Very true, however a lot of bands who are largely influenced by the NYHC scene are lame "jock" core bands.

I do agree NYC does kinda have a tough guy attitude. As does the music at times. But it is just how the scene is there . You can see that not all bands are like that. But I also relize some are. It was just such a blanket generalization I felt the need to defend my hometown. Thats all.

D.C. was the birthplace of Hardcore Punk, not Hardcore.
So, N.Y. or East Coast'd probably be more accurate

Yeah, but he was talking about the Bad Brains, a hardcore punk band, one of the first and one of the best ever. I thought he was saying BB was related to or was from NY, hence my response. I could be wrong. (Not that I care, really.)
