I said they all had some core influences, which basically puts them all into either post-hardcore, metalcore, grindcore, or hardcore inspired pop rock. Fall of Troy has slightly more textbook emo music (lots of dynamic and melodic changes throughout the songs) than the others, but they still fall into post-hardcore, along with alexisonfire and The Bled (who don't have any emo qualities to their music). The rest of the bands you listed are just metalcore/metal with hardcore influence. If you don't believe me, compare them with these few bands (metalcore staples): Shai Hulud, Every Time I Die, and Botch. You'll notice a lot of similarity and influence. I'm not saying the musical taste is bad, it's just incorrectly labeled by you (and a majority of the time, myspace).
