taking back sunday...............wtf dude?

if i had to say any recommendations, i will reccomend underoath, bullet for my valentine, funeral for a friend, atreyu(i put into screamo cat.) it has to have a good beat to be good screamo too.

Yeah, to clear that up, I was just listing the older Underoath cds (which are metal/metalcore).

Those bands are good, and the fall of troy have some screamo influences, but those bands aren't screamo. These bands are screamo, I suggest checking Saetia out listen to some natures catch no plagues.

I'll take your word on that one, Crowquill. I'm not big into screamo personally--anything more intense than the early Boy Sets Fire records make my ears bleed. I'm more into accoustic-driven Daphne Loves Derby-esque emopop, so I'm no expert.

Although "Circle Takes The Square" is probably the coolest band name I've seen in a while, so I might check them out just for that. As shallow as it is, half of me is already thinking how awesome that'd look on a t-shirt.
