i would have to say that real emo that bleeds crucial emotion would be the band HEART from the 80's , yeah B:tch got you on a Technicality!~ yeah im saying like songs titled "these dreams, alone, crazy on you, and what about love?" yeah punk it up i dont think so what we define as emo is the same damn thing as what out fathers defined a generation of woodstock based love and songs that have meaning are mostly about love so and heartbreak so i dont know i guess im just so emo, i cant slander the meaningless term.( sarcasm inplied, but maybe not appriciated)

I think you listen to taking back sunday, thrice, my chemical romance, story of the year, from autumn to ashes, atreyu, and killswitch engage.

those bands suck

Let's just say that if your bands actually were the best bands ever and David frost's band did suck it wouldn't matter. Either way YOUR bands are not emo, HIS bands are emo/emocore.

And spearmint why did you have to assume that he has no life? You completely degrade you reputation to this forum by playing five year-old tactics to win an argument. Since he knows music he must have no life?


I liked Dashboard confessional's old music. However, unlike you I don't recklessly label him as emo.

well, in order for that to happen you would have to take a listen to the music i listen to. ive heard everything you listen to. it is awful, pure and simple.
