Worst hardcore band ever
 

Norma Jean, The Letter Red, and The Chariot tie for the worst hardcore bands ever.

I haven't heard The Letter Red but I'm fairly sure the other two are metalcore but yeah whatever. If we're counting those sorts of bands then it's gotta be Atreyu. The amount of sheer cheesiness they ooze is just rediculous.

I've made myself pretty and fell down, yet I've never bled mascara. wait, im not a she lol. no wonder it never worked. that's Atreyu's only redeeming song, the Curse eats fried d!ck.

Yeah, right before I opened this thread I was thinking Atreyu.

Maybe after this thread is played out we can start a "Worst Polka Band" thread.

Atreyu definitely. I got the old norma jean cd today and it wasnt too bad at all.

I hate agnostic front because everytime Roger Miret opens his big fat stupid mouth I want to vomit. Not to mention all there songs are just kind of stupid. Especially the new stuff, dumb dumb dumb.

Well, I'm a vagina when it comes to these bands.
I like them.
They're overrated, yes.
But I still get into them once in awhile.

There must be a better reason other than "They suck". Explain it to me because most comments here are rather general.

I gave most my reason, I can not listen to Roger Mirets voice without literelly feeling ill. And there just another dumb band jumping on the new "hardcore" bandwagon no skill, no feeling, no nothing. Just a bad band At least on there old records they tried being fairly original.

The worst hardcore band ever? Who are you to say what bands are terrible when you can't even list hardcore bands...

regardless of Atreyu being metalcore, their earlier stuff was halfway decent..whereas The Curse is unbearable..I guess it got too catchy and over-produced.

Victory Records have barely signed any hardcore bands..

Hoods and Freya are great..and I bet you haven't listened to them..or even know what hardcore is.

I cant stand atreyu either, cause the guys' voice. Norma Jean is pretty good, they have a lot of breakdowns/long periods of weird noises. lol.

people are going to ****. but i hate earth crisis. they are one of the first (especially in my area) to take the hardcore and straightedge lifestyle and put a violent spin on it.

plus the music sucks.

Yea, I'm trying to find a place that has a decent community, and there are too many ignorant ****s on that one for me to be able to stand..can't bite my tongue on everything I want to say back to them.

I dont think you understand what the quotation marks were for. Victory has lots of bands they like to try to market as hardcore which are just crap. Unfortunetly most people run with the label of hardcore and say thats what the band is. I.e. comeback kid, bury your dead, atreyu

Earth Died and Knugen Faller are great..and I bet you haven't listened to them..or even know what hardcore is.

Norma Jean and the Chariot aren't hardcore.

I think atreyu is pretty good, but thats the only hardcore band I really even listen to besides killswitch engage sometimes.

They're basically metal/metalcore bands though.

I'm pretty sure there a quite a few *** people who listen to Death Metal, I don't see why their musical prefrences should affect their sexual ones or vice-versa.

I don't think Zao is that good. Just got A Parade Of Chaos and was very disappointed

Hey now why all the atreyu hating going on? thyre pop-y good for them! at least theyre feeding themselves right? i personally take my hat off to any hard rock band who can slip a breakdown into "darling, you give love a bad name" i find it hard to believe that many in the music world at this moment in time have either the balls, the tenacity, or the talent to blow the pants off bon jovi's feathered haired ass.... especially cuz i mean look at the man, those pants are tight as hell. but yea atreyu did, so mad props you... and norma jean? cmon now! after they replaced their singer a while back? theyre on the right track man! theyre cool as ****? very abstract, like a 4 year old dillenger escape plan with paulsy... who's autistic, thats kinda what they sound like, lots of distorted jumbled sounds that kinda play off like a crane hitting you in the face several times... but yea, isnt that what its about anyway? :) much loe... hxc for life.
