I really enjoyed that. The intro was a decent start. Standard emo stuff. Track 2 (Souvenir (No Future)) was great, though I felt as though the interlude/instrumental after it was a little too long in retrospect (unaware it was going to be just that as I went into it). A shorter track would have made the start of Into Your Hands feel more abrupt. But that's nit-picking in honesty.

The next track - The Dreamers - took a bit of steam out of it as I didn't feel it justified being a little over four minutes long (longest track on the album), but it wasn't bad at all. Loved the bass heavy intro to Blossom. Next track is fine, goes on a bit though. Kind of made me think what Pavement would sound like if they were Emo. Picks back up again with Spiral. Steadily continues with the next track. Next track was a bit of a bore and the ending track kind of just happens.

Overall the album is a little lacking in variety but the first half is especially good.

3/5

I felt this more closely resembled Joy Division or some dark new wave rather than any emo I've heard.
Really enjoyed the instrumental harmony, vocalist isn't up to much so it's for the best that they kept his vocals at the same levels as the guitars so as to hide the flaw.
I quite liked this record.
