Default The Emo Album Club Thread

The fortnightly emo album club

You may already have noticed the thread Mankycaant made, and that I
have already started the suggestion thread for this club. Great! Since we've already waited long enough, we (Butthead and I) decided to just get this started. Let's do this!

But Briks, what is the fortnightly emo album club?

It is an idea Manky had, where we listen to an album and discuss it every fourteen days. A new album will be chosen every second Friday, from the albums you have nominated/voted for. Nominating and voting will be done in the suggestion thread (link below).

What is this thread for?

This thread is for information about the club. If you have any questions, this is where to ask. Suggestions, both albums and general suggestions, will be done in the suggestion thread, and discussion about albums will be done in the album threads.

We have two days left to vote for an album! At Friday the votes will be counted. You may vote on Friday too, but once I've counted the votes and made that clear, time's up.

Consider this a temporary solution. The rules are likely to change shortly. I am in no way the leader of this club, thus I don't really have any right to set the rules, but we need this in order for this whole thing to work from the beginning. Maybe Manky comes up with a time limit later, but for now, just stick to the whole "noone has counted the votes yet, so I'll just vote even though it's Friday" thing.

Alright folks, the nominated albums were:

You Blew It! - Grow Up, Dude (2 votes)
Brave Bird - Maybe You, No One Else Worth It (3 votes)

That means the selected album is Maybe You, No One Else Worth It

The next album will be selected the 14th of February - be sure to nominate/vote for a new album before then!

Alright, here's the problem:

There were three albums nominated the last fourteen days. They all got one vote each. Therefore I suggest that we just select the first one that was suggested, Wild Moth - Over, Again , suggested by WhateverDude. Do you guys think this is an alright solution, or should we find another way to solve the problem?

Oh, and I'm a day late. Sorry about that.

I just revised the first post, and made some edits. The most important changes are that I added the links to the album threads, removed the part concerning the playlist competition (I'll add it again if it gets started) and virtually rewrote the "what is this thread for" part.
