Noo it's progressing. Angel hair and cap'n jazz to saetia and orchid. Now bands like kidcrash, we were skeletons, caravels, loma prieta have kept the great qualitys of there fore barriers, while adding a new sound. They have blended math rock and post rock into it. I do not believe it is dying.
