So we park these cars
In parent's garages Listen to the lullaby Of carbon monoxide -War all the time -Thursday The whole song is good, but those are some pretty well though out lines. I wish I could come up with stuff like that. |

I need you like water in my lungs..
Brand New - Play Crack The Sky I just got the Brand New CD (Deja Entendu) it totally kicks ass. They have a "listen to" section in their booklet, I can see that their musical influences are also quite varied.

Youth's the most unfaithful mistress,
Still we forge ahead to miss her, Rushing our moment to shine... ...We're not twenty-one, but the sooner we are, the sooner the fun will begin, so get out your fake eyelashes, and fake i.d's, and real disasters ensue, it's cool to take these chances. It's cool to fake romances. and grow up fast, and grow up fast, and grow up fast, and grow up fast. -Dashboard Confessional - Swiss Army Romance |

Dismemberment plan have some really really cool lyrics...
This is from the "The City"... Now I notice the streetlamp's hum The ghosts of graffiti they couldn't quite erase The blank-faced stares on the subway As the people go home The parks lay empty like my unmade bed The streets are silent like my lifeless telephone And this is where I live, but I've never felt less at home So I'm not unsympathetic I see why you left There's no one to know There's nothing to do The city's been dead Since you've been gone If anyone can find any lyrics from Lazycain, I'd be hugely gratefull. They have some mad music

my favorite song right now, brand new - no seatbelt song. i can't narrow it down to a few lines, so here's the song.
So, it's sad this doesn't suit you now And me fresh out of rope Please ignore the lisp I never meant to sound like this So take me and break me And make me strong like you I'll be forever grateful to This and you It's only you, beautiful Or I don't want anyone If I can choose It's only you Fix me to a chain around your neck And wear me like a nickel Even new wine served in old skins cheapens the taste I shot the pilot I'm begging you to fly this for me I'm here for you to use Broken and bruised Do you understand? It's only you, beautiful Or I don't want anyone If I can choose It's only you But how could I miscalculate Perfect eyes will have perfect aim If I can choose it's only you "We're wrecking" And I'm dry like a drum So fine I'll leave We're spent Take our time in trials Measured in miles And we slave for days (And we) It's only you, beautiful Or I don't want anyone If I can choose It's only you But how could I miscalculate Perfect lies from a perfect hate If I can choose It's only you

Baby's black balloon makes her fly
I almost fell into that hole in your life And you're not thinking about tomorrow 'Cause you were the same as me But on your knees A thousand other boys could never reach you How could I have been the one I saw the world spin beneath you And scatter like ice from the spoon That was your womb Comin' down the world turned over And angels fall without you there And I go on as you get colder Or are you someone's prayer You know the lies they always told you And the love you never knew What's the things they never showed you That swallowed the light from the sun Inside your room, yeah Comin' down the world turned over And angels fall without you there And I go on as you get colder Always someone And there's no time left for losin' When you stand they fall, yeah Comin' down the world turned over And angels fall without you there And I go on as you get colder All because I'm Comin' down the years turn over And angels fall without you there And I'll go on and i'll lead you home and All because I'm All because I'm And I'll become What you became to me |

The Goo Goo dolls are quite possibly my favorite band ever. Dizzy up the girl is the greatest cd in my mind, the greatest cd period. You've got Iris, slide, Black Balloon, Broadway, and so much more. Then again, I'm addicted to the 90's.
When I was young I knew everything, And she, a punk who rarely ever took advice Now I'm guilt-stricken, sobbin' with my head on the floor Stopped a baby's breath and a shoe full of rice, no... Can't be held responsible She was touchin' her face I won't be held responsible She fell in love in the first place For the life of me I can not remember What made us think that we were wise and we'd never compromise For the life of me I can not believe we'd ever die For these sins We were merely freshmen My best friend took a week's vacation to forget her His girl took a week's worth of valium and slept And now he's guilt-stricken, sobbin' With his head on the floor Thinks about her now and how he never really wept he said We tried to wash our hands of all of this We'd never talk of our lacking relationships And how we're guilt-stricken sobbin' with our heads on the floor We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip we'd say... We were merely freshmen We were only freshmen The Freshman by The Verve pipe. Bittersweet symphony rocks as well. |

^ one of my favorite songs of all time, but it always gets me depressed, i couldn't listen to it for about 6 months a while ago.
I got the message long before you said you knew There was no chance of us at all With no velocity and empty-headed hard and far-to-long I spent two years alone with you Just when I thought I had forgotten You came back soft without a sound You said we were an accident With accidents you’ll never know what could have been So we were an accident You’ll always be my favorite one You hit the road and left me an ocean I can't swim in the silence of your skin-skin please let me in Side the times we never had right Inside two years alone with you You said we were an accident With accidents you’ll never know what could have been So we were an accident You’ll always be my favorite one we could have been we could have been instead of accidental running always running why can’t you believe Long winded promises of future company Up close the sound remains the same Without the reign of terror over every momentary change We are exactly as before You hit the road and left me an ocean I can't swim in the silence of your skin-skin please let me in Side the time I had to forget you Inside no chance of us at all motion city soundtrack - my favorite accident
