Default There is no emo in Hawaii.

The title isn't very misleading. I live in hawaii, and there is no emo community. 3 people, including myself, on the entire island listen to emo music. How can i continue to hear more emo music?

Listen to what you already listen to.

Well, I want to expand my horizon. As of now, the only expanding I've been doing is on "Related Bands" on epitonic.com and iTunes.

Ask around the internet for new bands and ship their stuff over Amazon.com or something. damn.

Youre serious? Three of you? You have no idea how much I envy you. There's too many emo kids where I live, there is no escape... There's this one college nearby thats actually named themselves 'emo central'

Okay, well if you're going to post things off topic and not even relevant, don't post.

Fine, but I dont see how you needed to make a whole thread on how to hear more music. Just look around on these forums, theres plenty of new music I can guarantee you've never heard of. Thats not a dig at you, that's just more than likely the case. Just because there's only three of you on your island shouldnt make too much of a difference here, there's plenty more ways of finding new music really. Just read some of the stuff on here, there are many people here who could introduce you to new bands. You could read music reviews, look around on the internet, I cant really say go to gigs though, seeing as there's only three of you...

and, I dont see how you have to be a part of a "scene" to hear the music you want.

I seriously doubt that only 3 people listen to MCR, yellowcard, and TBS in Hawaii
