CDs you should buy

Easy thread, Just suggest a CD you think is worth buying

A Dead Sinking Story by Envy is a great CD that's worth the 10 dollars
The Malady Self-titled is also a good CD from level plane records that you will like

hardcorekidssuck 03-28-2005 03:54 PM

some devil by dave matthews band, futures by jimmy eat world, and (it hasn't come out yet but...) redemption songs by jars of clay. and I know 2 cds that ARENT worth buying, but ripping if you'd so please and those are the new sum 41 cd, chuck, and greenday's american idiot. I'll admit I got a little bit of pleasure out of both of those too, but I wouldn't buy them.

i just saw straylight run last night in indiana.. good music but the performance was incredibly boring.

cd's i think are swell:
Spitalfield-'Remember Right Now' and 'the cloak and dagger club'

riseagainstrocks 04-06-2005 01:11 PM

^ i actually like their new one, Stop Doing Bad Things, more than the older ones.

The Copperpot Journals - Pilots....very good

Either BrandNew albums

Hawthorne Heights - The Silence in Black and White

Dissertation, honey CD by The Plot to Blow up the Eiffel Tower. I think Frost made a thread about them earlier so I picked up their CD. Its really cool how they blend many genres together including indie and jazz.

I have to confess to quite liking Beck's latest effort, "Guero".

My Kaiser Chiefs CD is also getting a lot of hammer at the moment.

Sneer 04-10-2005 10:08 AM

Tom Vek debut is class. i'll stop going on about it eventually. employement's a nice album.

Nath 04-10-2005 10:19 AM

Stu... who would you compare Tom Vek to? I've heard about him, and his album seems to be getting quite positive feedback - but he's not a guy I've ever actually heard.

Sneer 04-10-2005 10:24 AM

hes unlike anybody else ive heard but bands similiar are possibly eastern lane.
solo wise, possibly becks new stuff.

Nath 04-10-2005 11:20 AM
