I love a ton of the bands in here, and there are a lot of them listed that I haven't listened to yet. Some of my favorites are Saetia, La Dispute, Moving Mountains (surprised they weren't mentioned more), Raein, and my absolute favorite BY FAR is Daitro.
So... Who can direct me toward some emo/screamo bands that are a lot like Daitro? I know they can't be THAT unique. So good though! Keep up the good thread! |
Hey guys, if I was to get one Joan of Arc album where they were at their most emo and least artsy, which one would it be?
|
I don't know about least artsy, but Joan of Arc, Dick Cheney, Mark Twain is the best, in my opinion.
|
So what are some really good emo bands? I'm trying to find some because I feel like I'm wearing mine out XD
|
Any screamo bands that incorporate shoegaze?

Mineral American Football Penfold Jejune (Haven't heard much of them) Now, if you don't mind stuff with screaming, I've got a lot more for you. Here you go. Some are pretty well-known for the genre so don't get at me if I'm coming off as a messenger of the obvious. Saetia City of Caterpillar Raein (They're Italian! You can get their newest album for free on their website) You and I (singing and screaming!) Four Hundred Years Funeral Diner Yaphet Kotto (a good mixture of singing and unclean vocals) Orchid's pretty good, but they came off as being nihilistic jerks to me. As TV Tropes says, your mileage may vary. Some really good modern post-hardcore bands that are similar to the ones previously mentioned are La Dispute, Touche Amore and Pianos Become the Teeth. Have fun listening! |
few cool uk bands:
lay it on the line bastions last witness almeida all of them are well worth checking out, all have free stuff on bandcamp |
I would recommend anyone to listen to At The Drive-In. Relationship Of Command is by far one of the best albums of this era.
|
^Definitely, they're a great band.
