Possibly the worst band I have EVER heard

The Promise Ring is one of my favorite Pop punk bands. Which style of their music do you hate? Their later releases like Wood/water and Very Emergency or their twisted pop tunes of 30 degrees everywhere and Nothing Feels Good?

I haven't heard a lot of emo bands so for now I dislike Heroin. They're okay but a little too much over the top for me. Gonna run through their CD again and make up my mind about them.

I don`t know the name of the album , it was playing in the background when I went to a friends house. I asked her who it was & she told me & said 'why , do you like it'
To which I replied 'No their lead singer is seriously getting on my tits'

i wouldnt say dashboard is the worst emo band, but id say Brand New are better

Dashboard are to girlish for me, i'd prefer ALEXISONFIRE

I don't really like The Used so much.

I like Brand New a little better than Dashboard Confessional cuz of their slightly rougher sound, but he's a good guy anyway... just not really my taste

Im glad someone is smart enough to know dashboard IS in fact emo. BUT, I still like them. Although it is sad, it is really poetic, and I like how its mostly accoustic.

I'd agree with that except that you find sad music that whines in just about every genre. jars of clay has alot of whiney stuff and alot of happy stuff. dave mathews whines sometimes. even the beach boys whine sometimes. even though I think people crying about everything is the most annoying, retarded, dumb*** thing in the world, you can't just not listen to music if it whines. The only reason I like dashboard at all is because they're lyrics are so poetic (in my own mind) and their music is somewhat soothing. I feel the same way about coldplay. I'll bash screamo to no end not only because its crying about everything but also because I think it sounds retarded. I like dashboard, despite their whiney nature. I don't know if that makes any sense, but thats where I'm coming from.

First of all there is no crying in Screamo. You have no clue what you're talking about. If there was crying in screamo you would be the last person to know about it anyway.
