It seems like the pop and the screams get further and further apart now. I worked with a friend who put a Chiodos song on a mix cd and played it all the time, and I always wondered why they felt like putting screams and breakdowns in the middle of a pop song. The autotune and the pop-punk chord progression pretty much removes the whole hardcore connection... but I guess the kids like to dance for 30 seconds in the middle anyway?
Also, I like that they've all picked out their favorite outfit to wear all over the myspace. |
