Saosin? anyone?
ok i posted this in the punk forum but i think ive gotte two replies so far. so what i want to know is: has anyone ever heard of or know where i can get tabs and lyrics for any songs by SAOSIN. ive been working on interoreting them but anthony greens voice is really hard to understand sometimes.
|
They are pretty good, on half of the Taste of Chaos tour. I'm not too crazy for them, not a big fan of their singers voice in all honesty
|
I have seen lyrics up somewhere when I was on their site. They have a message board, have you looked at? Also, have you looked for tabs, because I know we (my band and I) found some when we considered covering a song. The tab seemed right. We didn't end up covering it though.
|
His voice is too high-pitched. Took me awhile to get used to it..
Theyre okay i guess |

if its not a problem could you tell me what sites you looked for tabs on. ive only seen tabs for seven years, they perch, bury your head, and lost symphonies. im looking specifically for tabs for translating the name |
Agh. sorry, can't help you. Those were the only tabs I've seen as well. As for lyrics, I think you might be out of luck. Does the cd cover have the lyrics? I don't know, i didn't buy it (though i made up for it, shirt and hat >:P) Sorry.
|
^ i didnt buy it either thats why i cant check that. my friend who introduced me to their music got the tracks from the e.p. from someone over aim.
|
I dont know them that well, what songs d'you recommend ??
|
Saosin are excellent! Seven Years acoustic is amazing!
|
Seven Years acoustic is horrid, I can't stand his voice normally, but I was cutting my ears off during the first 30 seconds of that acoustic.

i would recomend translating the name and they perch those are their two best sons if youre looking for musical skills. lost symphonies is also pretty god. as for the acoustic version of seven years, i didnt care for it. it definately didnt do justice to the original
|
Thanks muchly, Ill check 'em out :)
|
I'd recommend every song >:P I've never heard the 7 years acoustic, but the normal one is amazing. What do you guys (whoever heard it) think of "I can tell"? I think it's good. Although if you think his voice is annoying, well then >.< Also, do you know the name of the singer now?
|
yes. thier new singer is cove reber. i dont think his voice is quite as good as anthony's was, but hes still pretty good. also, their new drummer, alex rodriguez, is not even close to the amazing skill of pat mcgrath. pat mcgrath, who played the drums on the E.P. "translating the name" was amazing. ive never heard of anyone that could play so well. he was the drum tech for slayer at the time of the e.p. if you listen closely to songs like translating the name and they perch, you can hear all of the toying with the cymbals. its f***ing crazy. i can tell isnt one of their best songs but its still pretty good.
BTW- my signature is the full name of the song called they perch. |
Thanks for the info. I agree, the new drummer isn't nearly as good as the old >.< I didn't know so much of that, I feel ashamed.
Okay maybe not but I feel better knowing, somehow @.@ |

i strongly disagree with that. in the acoustic version his voice doesnt sound nearly as good. and the guitar just doesnt sound right somehow.
i dont necesarily hate it, but it definately doesnt do justice to the original. |
Well, I found the acoustic, and I enjoyed it. The reason the guitar doesn't sound right is that it isn't the same. I liked the vocals, though.
Actually, I have a favor. I'm missing the song "I Have Become What I’ve Always Hated" I've been looking for it. If you have it, do you think you could send me it? AIM:trippingonme Email:superdoom138@yahoo.com (don't even ask about the email, i know that it's really dumb.) uh....Thanks. |
fuck yes, I will bump this.
I love this band. I get made fun of for it all the time. and I could care less. I love them. Love them. Love love lovvee them. |
