emo book?
hey guys, have any of you heard of or read the book called "nothing feels good"? i saw it in the book store the other day, i guess its about the emo genere and the theory behind it and such. seems pretty cool.. wondering what anyone who may have read it thought...
|
I haven't read it but why don't you look on amazon.com, they let you look inside books...ha, just looked at it...one of the pages has Thrice's sig on it...:)
|
I read a the first part about rites of spring, mineral, and stuff. I thought it was pretty good because the author used people that were in the concerts to talk about the scene. The second half sucks because he idolizes Dashboard Confessional as the savior of the emo genre.

I'll check it out.
DBC, the savior my ass! |

u actually read a whole book? bravo bravo

I'm nearly done the whole book.
The first chapter is good, and although the rest is informative, it's not true. He's describing post emo indie music, not EMO. At least his intentions were good. I'm not a big fan of dashboard either. |
