Default jeromes dream

yet another seminal band that we have no thread on, wtf guize. everyone should love jeromes dream, but if you don't know about them then you should at least know that they are the reason for everything we hold near and dear in today's hardcore/heavier skramz scene.

which album? Near the end of their existence their singer suffered major damage to his vocal chords and was unable to scream. This was due to him screaming without a microphone at every single show they ever played, as well as on all their prior releases. The last album had to have heavy vocal effects over his voice so they could be heard.

Go to skreamyourlungsout.com and dl their discography, that's where all the good screaming is.

Great great great album. Absolutely some of their best work, and definitely one of my favorite screamo albums ever. This band also had some absolutely great splits with One Am Radio, July, Amalgamation, Orchid, and Usurp Synapse. In fact, the only thing I don't like by this band is their last stuff. The vocals sound stupid, obviously, but musically it blows as well. Still a great band.

What about my dream?

Heard of these guys but haven't listened. So Seeing Means More Than Safety would be the one to check out?

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

great band, they're tight, awesome vocals. I even like their later stuff. The first song from their last recordings is really awesome. Funny they had a split with one am radio, i know, i know, they were friends in college or something. but I like their recordings on the usurp or orchid split best. some of their unreleased stuff would sound awesome if it wasnt ****ty live recordings at awesome shows.

man both of those songs are in my top 5, along with Its More Like A Message To You and a couple of their unreleased tracks. And yeah, Seeing Means More Than Safety is the record to check out by them.
