You have to take EVERY LYRICS of them as metaphors.. but August Winterman? Well, maybe they changed in a religious way since new medicines... because I can´t find any real Metaphors that lead to a christion opinion!

Emery's lyircs aren't overtly Christian but the members are. Thats the main requirement to being a Christian rock band. The lyrics can be about anything (except Satan I guess).

Good ChristxCore/ Christian rock labels:

Facedown Records
Strike First Records
Tooth & Nail
Harvest Earth
Solid State
Blood & Ink

It's funny cuz when Underoath -(an awesome NOW supposedly christian band) first came out their sound was so Hardcore and screaming like hell. Especially on their first albums like 'Act of Depression' & 'Changing of Times'. Now since they've changed people in the band like lead screamer, their sound is less screamy i would say and on some songs talking more about religious related things.

^ read the lyrics to their songs dude. Highly christian. They've toned down their message and gotten softer.

I reccomend:

Emery-walls, fractions, ponytail parade
Underoath-boy brushed blue... (something like that)
Anberlin-ready fuels
mewithoutyou-gentleman
DeadPoetic-glass in the trees.

If you like hardcore, I'd check out Norma Jean. That'd be the way to go from all the bands listed in this thread.
