Yea like a month or two ago. I love poppy emo but someone needs to do something new with it. The weird thing about emo is that a lot of the time people are just making music for their friends and because there's nothing like that where they live. Then it gets placed on the global chopping block that is the internet and slaughtered for not being original. Don't get me wrong I dig this but I don't know how many times I can listen to the same band with a different name.

Its not really like LOTN that much anyhow. I like Staph as well and this is alright. Lion would've been so much better if their output was more than 6 songs. Totally lame, but then again, thats how all these bands make it nowadays; put out a 5 song demo and call it quits. They were really one of the only small DIY screamo bands that had a really great live show. It wasn't just a bunch of kids in their cutoff girl pants standing around looking awkward, they were super energetic, and really got everyone into it. Most kids at all these shows love to just stand around and look cool (or something like that) and its super lame. Lion's shows, or at least the ones we played at, were never like that. They were actually how hardcore punk shows should be like.
