Default Deadguy

Ive listened to some of their stuff and I just dont understand what was so influential about them other than people saying they are influential. I guess they did originate pretty early on in like '94 or something mixed different elements together. I see a lot of people site these dudes as an influence though. I guess I kind of answered my own question, but people say there would be no botch or anything like that if it wasnt for these dudes. Can anyone clarify?
