how much bullsh*t other things in your
life can be and that's definitely a message
that we want to get across. You are most
human when you're dying or when you feel
like you're dying.

the point of the song then its not
worth listening to

Bob Dylan - "Mama, You've Been On My Mind":

Well, perhaps it's the colour of the sun cut flat
And covering - the crossroads I'm standing at
Or maybe it's the weather or something like that,
But mama, you been on my mind
...
When you wake up in the morning, baby, look inside your mirror
You know I won't be next to you, you know I won't be near
I'd just be curious to know, if you can see yourself as clear
As someone who has had you on his mind

How I love those lines...

And:

Loving is hard when it’s stopped by cemetery
Baby, I hope those tears were meant for me
Even when it hurt it was always you who shined
Blinded by starlight, heartbeats and my mind...

Oh, I'm getting melanchiolic again...

I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

emo stands for emotional, but doesnt refer to any emotion in any genre... its more of a self pity emotion that is popular in the punk section

it sounds good though =]
