Jairus - one of the best English post-hardcore bands to emerge from the 00's. In the very short time they were around they generated quite a buzz, culminating in the 2004 release The Need To Change The Mapmaker

Chickenhawk are ok in small doses, however, they've released too much mediocrity for me. Their split with With Scissors (excellent band, their split with Orion Arm and Take A Worm is so so SO good) and I Breathe Spears is pretty good though... mostly because of With Scissors input i'll be honest

As for Take A Worm, seen them live and they put on a really good show, was just after they released their first album so it wasnt the longest of sets lol. New album The Monroe Transfer is an album i seriously dig (ask for ups)
