ya, you can't be aftraid to scream or belt out the lyrics, but when you're doing that it sounds a lot better if you have a strong voice, so don't rely just on the screaming, keep working on it and practice it so that it souns like singing-screaming, not just hollering at the top of your lungs to mask a bad voice, which is unfortunately something a lot of singers do.

you cant be timid when singing...use all the "power" you have in your voice. try singing songs that have a note u have trouble hitting...thre more u prectice hitting that note, the easier it will become and it will beocme part of ur natural range. im no teacher/pro but im the lead singer for my band and i nkow from experience

Choir class will extend your range a great deal, as well as your breath capacity. Breathing exercises seem really stupid when you are doing them, but the work. It doesn't sound too great when you're taking a giant breath every 10 seconds. Wanna stretch your voice? Get Afraid to say this by 5 Days ahead, and try to keep up. That man sings higher than anything I've heard, even higher than Coheed and Cambria. But the great thing about that song is that it has ascending scales in thirds up to the highest notes, which will really make it more doable. Good luck, and have fun.
