Why were Bad Brains "Banned in D.C"?
I know the local clubs "banned" them from playing but do you know why? I always liked to believe it was just because the shows were too destructive or something.

yea it was because their shows were thought to promote violence because of the audience, thats part of the reason a lot of diy hardcore bands started playing basements and houses and such...thats a great song by the way, the bass line is crazy in the beginning

the singer has a mental illness as well Henry rollins told us story about he walked around stage with his luggage, and then just walked out of the venue
