i haven't gotten the newest album yet but i heard it's not too thrilling. i'm trying to get into them but there's just something about them i can't get past. i do agree "Low Level Owl Vol 1" is amazing though

Bump. I'm digging the hell out of Low Level Owl Vol I & II lately. They're very slow-burning albums and it's taken me a while to get into them, but they're just so good. These guys had the post-rock infused emo sound nailed down over a decade ago.

I really like their debut, which is less along the post rock lines. But has big emo anthems like Antihero & Dreamland.
Only discovered them semi-recently myself though so will look into their later works. |

"Marigold & Patchwork" is my favorite, first song, first album, then rest is just OK.
