Default Please tell me sum old emo bands

Im pretty sick of all this "stuff" on emo now. It has chnaged so much, it cam from hardcore and it first of all kept its hardcore touch, but now it has changed in 2 pop punk like rufio, something corporate.

We need 2 get the real emo bck which evolved from hardcore, and has long guitar melodys and makes u shut ur eyes and feel where they r, not fookin wanna floor punch.

So tell me wot r sum of the bands which made this music?

peace

Saetia
Kite Flying Society (newish, but hardcore)
Moss Icon

Elitist...lol...more like expression of opinions through forceful means.

Sunny Day Real Estate can't be overlooked as a pioneer for the genre. I would recomend listening to them if you want original, good emo.
