For some newer emo, but with some older elements, I would check out Hey Mercedes. (hi fives communication guy) Finch is not emo, and they aren't very good anyway. Nicely put communication guy

may i reccomend an awesome book i read...called nothing feels good by an author i cant really remember =[ but it was very insightful about the whole evolution of emo all the way from rites of spring to whatever you would like to call it today. some of my favorites: rites of spring, braid, mineral, sunny day real estate, jawbreaker, the promise ring, indian summer, getup kids, elliot.....some of my new favorites : armor for sleep, hey mercades, death cab for cutie, silver stein
