I've heard this term a few times, I seen it on Last FM and a few places elsewhere on the internet....What is it exactly?

Screamo, skramz. Same thing, just more stupid names.

A lot of elitists use this term to make each other rofl.

It started off as a joke, now everybody uses it too seriously. Doesn't matter, call it what you want... screamo, skramz, skree'moh, skrammy jammy, kittycore, kiddymoe, a bunch of guys who are too shy to face the audience yet still manage to cry while performing.

No, I kid, pretty much what everyone else said. Another way of saying screamo, but a lot more annoying.
