Ok, I'll generalize it then...I don't like it when ANYONE says they dislike a band without giving reasons WHY...It may seem lame to you but...you're the only person who has really ever (to me) disliked a band cause they're popular or whatever, and I'm not arguing with you or whatever cause that's what you might say and I don't want to make an argument out of a discussion, which is what it is, I'm not asking you to 'explain yourself' just wondering is all...I think you've talken what I said totally the wrong way

sorry, I'll explain...I said only you because you seem like the only one on this site (you told me to go to the 'pop' forum thus saying my music was pop...popular and said it wasn't very good. I don't spent too much time on here to be honest and If other people do say stuff I'm sorry...I was reffering to people over where I live who whenever they dislike a band the first thing said about the band is "they're always played and everyone thinks they're good" So they have to hate them?

why dont you do me a favor and answer my question, what bands have i said i disliked because they were popular?

I didn't come back here to 'attack' you...I also thought you did with my list of bands which you told me where pop and not very good and my understanding of pop is popular, as I stated. I must have misinterperated what you ment I apologise in this thread I simply wanted to know what you though 'crappy' music was like to me crappy music would be something that has repetative lyrics meaningless lyrics plain beats repetative beats heavy screamo (like whole song) and words which rhyme for the hell of rhyming. It's all I wanted to know I'm sorry my curiosity got the better of me. oh is your name actually david frost or is it just your screen name

Not on purpose, I do prefere the lighter aproach I have to admit. I'm not saying I dislike screamo but through the whole song is a little to much. I totally respect your oppinion, besides one of my friends is in a totally overly done screamo type band thing and it's actually pretty awsome. Just couldn't listen to it alot. Didn't mean any offence, didn't really know exactly what type of music you like

there's not always a specific reason to dislike a band. there are some bands out there that I simply don't like, no particular reason, their music just isn't my taste. Music is such a subjective issue that it's often very hard to have a set group of qualities by which to describe a band as good or bad.

I get like this. Sometimes I'll read an interview with a band or hear something they've said and it just really, really annoys me. Razorlight's lead singer called himself the new Bob Dylan, and depsite the fact that he doesn't write bad songs, I just really, really dislike him for being such an arrogant tool.
