hm, yeah...little things didnt bother me much, but motivate me did. my sister wrecks a lot of music just because she over listens to it, like...once ever 5 minutes. so maybe thats why it bugs me when bands get all popular, you hear it too much and you know you'll hear it too much, like on much music and stuff.
|
theres not much point to this thread. nobody's going to say "i want to be underground, i dont like popular bands, im too cool for that."
|
sorry. Obviously, I was wondering why people use "cause they're 'pop' or 'mainstream'" as an excuse not to like them. And 'Jesus' and 'david frost' that was exellent you totally filled me in on what crappy music is thankyou so much, there's no point in descussing your views, cause you don't...discuss that is
David frost name me a band that you like that is popular? or one you liked before it was popular surly there must be at least on good band that's popular otherwise they wouldn't be popular? |

David...was that a list of bands you like or not? oh and you have yet to tell me what YOU think 'crappy' music is...Like I don't care what bands you think are crappy unless you have a clear reason WHY they're crappy otherwise you're just one of those peope who, erm...annoy me, some :) |
i dont have a specific set of standards for what sucks. i listen to a band, if they suck, they suck. question, why am i the only one having to explain myself about the music i hate? seems kind of lame to me.
by the way, i like those bands... alot. |
Mars Volta were never not popular over here. As soon as the Drive-In split everyone who liked them was waiting for the members to get their records out.
The Cure huh? *goes off to put Lullaby on* |
