How are hardcore and grindcore related? They are 2 entirely different sub genres.

actually, if you listen to grindcore you'd know that they are in fact, related. Napalm Death listened to Siege and Discharge and eventually built their sound around that.

Bands the past 2 years that have really grown a name for themselves:

Cease Upon The Capitol
Men As Trees
La Quiete (i could be wrong on this but I don't care, they're so damn good)
Lion Of The North (i think this band has so much potential, not enough people know them)


I'm really lazy, I'll try to think of some more later.
