Need Help, MUSICBANTER EMO FORUM!

Give me a list of the best 5 grind/emo/hardcore/screamo bands that have emerge in the past year and a half or so. GO GO!

Grind related to emo? Really?

Farfisa 03-13-2008 12:59 AM

How are hardcore and grindcore related? They are 2 entirely different sub genres.

xcult_classicx 03-13-2008 06:38 AM

actually, if you listen to grindcore you'd know that they are in fact, related. Napalm Death listened to Siege and Discharge and eventually built their sound around that.

I just meant in general, what were the best in that scope of genres, but thanks for running around the question with pretentious back talk.

Bands the past 2 years that have really grown a name for themselves:

Cease Upon The Capitol
Men As Trees
La Quiete (i could be wrong on this but I don't care, they're so damn good)
Lion Of The North (i think this band has so much potential, not enough people know them)

I'm really lazy, I'll try to think of some more later.
