His second list is more along the lines of post-hardcore or indie rock, but he's close.

Eh, I don't listen to a whole lot of emo (except for post-emo, though you probably don't want me naming off a bunch of that), but:

Gah... I can't even make 10 without using a damn Sunny Day Real Estate or Texas Is The Reason song.
