Modest Mouse isn't emo at all. I've listened to emo, I've listened to every Modest Mouse song released and unreleased, they're not emo. Interstate 8 isn't emo either. I think you have 90s indie confused with emo or something because I don't know how you could consider My Chemical Romance and Weezer in the same genre of music they sound nothing alike.

Them not being emo makes them not emo. Read the educate thread or don't post and if you disagree with everything I said in the education thread then please feel free to correct me in an intelligent manner with some back to it until then refrain from posting in here as it's spamming. Thanks.

Modest Mouse is very much emo. The only main album they've released that isn't emo is We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. Some other emo songs that are nearly my favorite are "Never Ending Math Equation" and "The Stars Are Projectors".
Weezer isn't indie rock. Blondie and The Ramones are both punk artists, they sound different.

If you don't then that means Modest Mouse, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Pedro The Lion, Anberlin, Weezer, etc are all not emo and you stated they were.

I'm not saying I do agree with it, I'm saying I never said I didn't agree with it.

What the fuck? Listen either read it and disprove it or stop posting in here. It's frustrating when people spam these forums with bands that aren't emo while the rest of us are actually trying to talk about emo.

I approve of some of it and disapprove of other things.
