Palatka
For fans of In/Humanity and Assfactor 4 (I'm upping something from all three bands, I swear I am I haven't forgotten Mackenzie) They're 90s southeast "emo-violence", whatever the fu-ck that means, right, and they're totally brutal. They use a bunch of segues and are pretty cool I guess. The Pete Seeger one is awesome because I love Pete Seeger
CHECK IT OUT |
i love Palatka. i only have the end of irony though

this band is pretty good. |
Classic band. They use to be my favorite band. Fantastic. Anyone who hasn't heard them yet, I suggest you do so.
|
Yeah this band was pretty solid. I saw them play a fair amount of times at the Palatka house in Gainsville. And with Assuck end of the century party etc.. I don't think I ever saw them play a set longer then 20 minutes.
|
I've been meaning to listen to assuck forever.
|
The End of Irony is solid in terms of great melodies and lyrics but idk if they're trying to be purely satirical in their political anecdotes or wha.
And Assuck are cool. swim, if you like Palatka you should check out their album Misery Index. The End of Irony def has echoes of its distinctively "brutal" textures. Both bands make good use of brevity too |
i have Assuck's Misery Index
p.s. would anyone happen to have some Eurich and some End Of The Century Party? i'll up the Southeast Hardcore **** Yeah! Compilation for you guys if you do. :D |
