ok, they finally replied to my message on myspace. they said they still wanted to do the split, but they already made commitments to other bands and their new album. so andrew told me there's going to be a Daijobu records compilation we could be on. if that's the case, then i'm also going to sell it here via my label for those little third world azn kids who couldn't afford $8 with postage or something.

what are their new songs like?

I'm planning to do a new record label (on my own) because the other one is very unactive and I think nothing will be accomplished.

They played 2 new ones, and they were both the shorter ones on the album. One doesn't really have the drawn out parts, while the other one I heard has some pretty sweet build ups and was a lot more melodic and not as screamo as some of their other stuff. Both were really good. Andrew said once they record, he'll send me a copy of it.

anyway, just to clear things up, the compilation is something andrew has in mind for now. i DO hope he pushes through with it given that it would be awesome and ****.

yea it seems like they dont have too many bands being on the compilation right now, I cant wait to hear their new songs. I really respect them and dig their music.
