The lyrics are ridiculous and thoughtless. It is pretty apparent they don't take themselves seriously, which isn't necessarily a bad thing (particularly if you are just looking to cash in on the "metalcore" trend). I still don't understand why people try to convert all these different art forms into jobs...

you and me both, big guy. i know we haven't spoken in awhile, and i wish i wasn't so damn busy so we could talk about screenprinting and obscure bands for awhile.

point is Heavy Heavy No No is a genric band for hardcore kids who don't have a clue what real music is.

It wasn't touched by a moderator though, it would show up as edited by a moderator for me which it doesn't.

wow, are you serious? the lyrics are ridiculous and thoughtless? i wrote an entire analysis paper on "there's a bat". you, my friend, are the thoughtless one. hhll have better lyrics than most the bands in this forum.

I'll check out the lyrics to that song, but everything else i checked out was just cheesy poems that looked like someone spent five hours trying, not to express any sort of message/emotion, but to sound scattered and thoughtful--something you apply a message that fits what you wrote afterwards rather than fitting your words to what you want to say. That can be interesting, but here it just comes across stale, ridiculous, and thoughtless...

And most of the music talked about here i don't enjoy.

What kind of music do you enjoy? For whatever reason I kind of remember you liking a lot of early and softer emo like Braid and Kolya? Im just wondering, no point or anything to this haha.

The lyrics to the song he was talking about fit that description perfectly.

there's a bat crawling on my neck
and it's a big one
and it's got your number
and it's got mine too
and it'd be quite content to feast on you
oh my
oh my
oh my word
crawling on my neck
then he spoke to me
horror horror
what i saw wasn't quite what i thought it was at first
there's a bat on my neck
