i started listening to screamo around late 2005, i think. before then, i probably thought Atreyu was emo or something. *turns back in shame and listens to Portraits Of Past*

nah I listened to screamo since 2005 as well, just broadened my horizons greatly when I found swims website and found this forum about 2months later when I saw it at the top of the page. I used to listen to I guess more popular screamo like Love Like...Electrocution, Hot Cross, On the Might of Princes, Joshua Fit For Battle and I Would Set Myself On Fire For You.

Before that, I searched for emo and screamo in kazaa in 2001-2003, by just typing it in and probably deleted all the bands I listened to now without remembering their name because I wasnt too into screaming. I used to think Poison the well was screamo when the opposite of december came out just because that was what someone labeled it on there haha. Im glad I like the music I do now no matter how crappy my exclusive pop-punk tastes used to be lol.
