Dawn Treader
Amazing band from Maryland.
MySpace.com - dawn treader - bodymore/takoma park/silverspring/PDX, US - Punk / Hardcore / Psychedelic - www.myspace.com/dawntreaderkids Anyone else listen to them? They're pretty much amazing. I didn't even know they had two LP's, though. I'm looking for "Deconstructing the Coffin", if you catch my drift. |
Yeah dude theyre awesome, I know about them mainly because Im from Baltimore and theyre friends with Towers and Letters In Binary and this other baltimore screamo band Army of Kashyyk. Theyre really good live. I actually just ordered Deconstructing the coffin, it should be in my mailbox soon =D.
This stuff is pretty dope, I believe I join Artless in the "looking for their album" category :).
Actually, gonna buy Deconstructing the Coffin, wasn't sure if it was CD or LP before, but its CD, on their myspace.
yup, its only 5 bucks too, you really cant beat that DIY price!
aren't these guys ex-Pg.99?
nope, theyre 7 friends from bmore that have been together since 2001
oops, my bad. dyslexia blows. so wait, was i thinking of Crestfallen? or neither of those bands are ex-Pg.99? O_O

yea they are, I was just looking at their merch and the drummer brandon just started a conversation with me. Their singer has crazy dreads haha.
I just got their split 12" with d'amore. Pretty sweet, ill up =)
they had a reunion show last saturday, had 11 members on stage haha, it was crazy, live cellists and violinists, only two original members though :(
their other projects are sweet as ****.
the summer we went west and beezout's identity are ill |
haha damn, Ive never met anyone outside of baltimore into the summer we went west, they are pretty sweet
did the singer dude leave? deconstructing the coffin was great.
nah, jeremy and al were the only two dudes at the reunion show. Brandon (drummer) and Anton (guitar) are in Monument now.
the first time i saw them they opened up for daughters in 2002 and BLEW MY MIND. They started playing this crazy shoegazing/builtospill-like intro for a few minutes and then unleashed utter destruction.
yea they did that the last time I saw them as well. It was awesome. Their live set is much more intense than their recordings, I guess the fact that they have so many people on stage always helps. Where was that daughters show?
UMD, but not at the radio station, some other place.
Vincent Price's Orphan Powered Death Machine, Exosus, and Flowers in the Attic played. Daughters had just come out with their first 7" and were still playing ATTS songs |
ah ok, sounds like an sweet show, I heard pretty much noone went to go see daughters during that period haha. I had no idea they played ATTS songs back then, awesome.
Does anyone have any Dawn Treader lyrics? Thanks.
