no, no, no, no.

Look, playing fast and screaming high pitched is not grindcore. Wearing tight pants and having nonsensical song-titles is not grindcore. Having 30 second songs is not grindcore.

The Number Twelve Looks Like You
As The Sun Sets
Daughters
Crinn

ALL NOT GRINDCORE

Nasum
Napalm Death
Birdflesh
Gadget
Backstabbers Inc.
Animals Killing People
Pig Destroyer
Insect Warfare
Cyness

THAT IS GRINDCORE

Hmmm...
Alrighty, I'm pretty sure it is. I won't argue though, I'm not a genre expert.

true but daughters and #12 shred more than most. You shouldn't pick out those bands seeing as they're pretty ****ing talented. You just don't like em cos yr super into the genre haha. They cater to a different crowd and that crowd doesn't even give em the respect they deserve most of the time. IT'S ALL METAL MAN!

Made you laugh because you think I'm wrong? Or because of the anger that came through it?

I think it just had a certain level of lolocity.
It also channeled a bit of Leonidas a la 300.

Has nothing to do with being an "expert". Has everything to do with having a discerning ear and caring enough about what you're listening to to do just a little bit of homework.
