Yeah. Their full length is still noisy and brutal but I like their live EP's than the full length.

Yeah I listen to Godstomper. They're cool. Try to watch their video with indisgust in youtube.

I must be a complete hardcore n00b, but i'd always envisaged grindcore as more of a metal genre? meh. I suppose it must kinda straddle the line.

Thoughts?

Grindcore is basically a combination of metal and punk, but not punk punk it's some hardcore subgenre.

I'll just quote Wiki:
"Grindcore (often shortened to "grind") is an evolution of crust punk, most commonly associated with death metal, a very different though similarly extreme style of music"

I personally don't have such a burning passion for the genre to declare it under either metal or hardcore. I think it fits under both branches, but I suppose if I really had to choose, I guess as an impulse answer I'd categorize grindcore as Hardcore.... but whatever, doesn't matter.
